The design of the Mission Platform Bed was based upon the American Craftsman philosophy of creating beautiful furniture that is solidly made and exquisitely designed. This timeless Arts and Crafts style bed will provide you and generations to come with solid, hand crafted heirloom quality furniture. 
Features and Benefits
- The Mission Bed evokes an ambiance of natural harmony and serenity and is a perfect addition to your bedroom furniture collection.
- Bed is enhanced with unbroken lines of solid wood construction.
- Bed is sanded smooth and finished with a non-toxic mixure of boiled linseed oil
- The bed comes with a full set of slats that will support a mattress.
- The Mission Collection Bed is made with Mortise and Tenon Joinery.
- Solid wood frame and panel side construction sets the Mission Collection apart from standard slab-sided furniture.
- All glued pieces are clamped overnight to ensure a solid bond. Extra glue blocks at stress joints virtually guarantee that the furniture will last a lifetime.
- Re-oiling is necessary, although not frequently,. Re-oiling brings out the color and depth of grain, and helps develop the patina for which Black Cherry is famous.
- Each piece is bench-crafted by a team of workers with years of experience. This process is time-consuming and exacting. Fitting of parts is exact.
- Bed comes standard with High Footboard option. Please call to order and obtain pricing for the Low Footboard option.
- Bed does not include mattress (as shown in top picture)
- Please note: The wood is a natural cherry, not a finish. The color will darken with age and re-oiling and become a mahogany color.
