- The Bed comes with a sturdy platform of closely spaced fir slats attached with jute webbing and bolstered by a center beam (in all except twin beds).
- The head and footboards come assembled with mortise and tenon joints throughout.
- The platform supports futon, foam or innerspring mattress.
- The platform version is shown in picture with a nine-inch mattress.
- To highlight the natural beauty of this distinctive hardwood, the manufacturer hand rubs each piece with their own finish, which includes tung oil and pure beeswax.
- Underbed Drawers:
- These drawers come fully assembled with sliding dovetail joints.
- These free standing drawers roll easily on straight-line casters and can also be placed under the footboard of the bed.
